This blog is Part 2 of the history of China and its growth to problematic superpower.  My previous blog, Part 1 of this subject, covers Chinese history up to 1911.  Part 2 starts in 1912 with the history of modern China to the present.   I will also discuss what the future of China might look like, and how this relates to the United States on the world stage.  Part 2 will end with some interesting facts about China.   I will list my principal sources at the end.
