HISTORY80 - The Inventions of Leonardo da Vinci
In my last two blogs (July 1, 2023 and July 13 , 2023), I first introduced Leonardo da Vinci and talked about the person, his life, and his accomplishments - focusing on his paintings; and then discussed his scientific investigations. In this third and final blog on Da Vinci, I want to focus on his inventions. I will start with a short introduction, then discuss his inventions, and end with some conclusions about his legacy with respect to inventions. For each invention that I talk about, I’ll include a short description of how and when the invention became real.
